~Go here for a drink before dinner downtown…awesome atmosphere
~Or after dinner…club vibe as the night goes on with DJ on most nights

The Lot

~5 food carts, 16 taps, open air, heated & covered seating structure, built in tables and heated benches, fire pit…hip, cool, fun atmosphere.
~The Carne Asada Fries from A la Carte are crazy good!

Crux Fermentation Project

~Don’t go here to sit inside and order food, hangout at the outdoor bar, play a game of corn hole, and be sure to grab one of their amazing pretzels
~Great sunset views of the mountains
~Hungry? Grab a couple delicious tacos from El Sancho Taco Cart parked right onsite. Dakine Grindz is parked here too and offers yummy Hawaiian Ice!
~This is a great place if you have the kids on tow as they can run and play in the large open field, just be sure they are wearing play clothes…they WILL get dirty!

Atlas Cider Tasting Room

~Sample a variety of tasty cider made right here in Bend while you take in a game of pool
~Beer on tap too, or try a blend of beer & cider (they will help guide you)

Elk Lake

~SUP and kayak rentals at the resort
~Live music outdoors at the restaurant on Sat. I think music starts at 4 or 5. Get there early, could get busy, this is the last weekend for music.
~Located just past Mt. Bachelor on the Cascade Lakes (or High Lakes)

Mt. Bachelor Chair Lift Rides

~You can also do a sunset dinner at the top, Fri-Sun, through Labor Day weekend. Reservation required.
~After 5pm, small plates and appetizers are available without reservation
~Go anytime during the day for hiking & stunning views.
~Lift ticket required, $15-19 per person

Float the River

~Tubes are available to rent at Riverbend Park, which is where you let in.
~You can also rent SUP here if you prefer that to floating

Smith Rock State Park

~Known as one of Oregon’s Seven Wonders, located 30 minutes north of Bend
~Amazing rock formations among several hiking trails
~Bring a hat and plenty of water. There is no shade and the sun can be brutal
~Be sure to stop by the Info Center and they will tell you exactly where you can find the Bald Eagle’s nest (bring your binoculars for a closer peak!)
~If you plan to take on Misery Ridge trail, wear legit hiking shoes…as the

Lava Lands, Lava Tubes & Benham Falls Trailhead

~Lava Cast Forest-outdoor trails through the lava lands & shuttle to the top of Lava Butte
~Lave Tubes-underground & cold so wear closed-toe shoes and a coat. Will also need a flashlight which can be purchased/rented onsite
~Benham Falls-there is a trailhead near the Lava Lands with a short hike to Benham Falls. This is not a waterfall, it is a river rapids area.

Sahalie & Koosah Falls

~Amazing hike from Sahalie Falls to Koosah Falls…worth the drive!

~Paulina Peak & Paulina Falls are the two musts in this area if you go
