Hello Bend! It’s that time again! That warm, sunny time of the year where you find yourself eating fresh, farm-grown strawberries, home baked goods, with a scoop of bonta gelato in one hand and a basket of fresh vegetables in the other as you peruse the diverse, local artisan stands that thoughtfully line the blocked-off streets. Day-dreaming of the Farmer’s Markets in Bend? So am I so I decided to do some “Market Research” (hehe, see what I did there?) and bring you a list of the produce stands and farmer’s markets that bring al fresco shopping to Bend during these glorious summer months.

Produce Stands:
While not technically “Farmer’s Markets” these produce stands around Bend are known for their high quality farm-to-table produce, and they have cemented themselves into Bend’s Open Air Market scene for sure!
Paradise Produce Stand:
Located on Galveston, they source local, seasonal high quality produce, and each week they feature a unique recipe card highlighting their produce!
Farmer Brown’s
Located on Knott Road, “Farmer Brown always has a good selection of regional fruits and veggies as well as other stuff like hanging flower baskets. They had at least half a dozen types of regional honeys including two rarely found local honeys.” – Tom, Bend local
The Vegetable Man:
With locations in both Bend and LaPine, the Vegetable Man is an incredible option for fresh produce. We love this produce stand so much we featured them on the blog in 2016! Check out their new offering–a produce box subscription!
The Orange Man (Now known as the Orange Mama)
On SE Division St, the fruit stand formerly known as The Orange Man has become “The Orange Mama”! According to loyal customers, their fruit and produce are “lovingly picked, and the quality is always exceptional!”
**Honorable Mention: Central Oregon Locavore Indoor Farmer’s Market (Year-round)
