Northwest Crossing Farmers Market

Northwest Crossing Farmers Market

Hello Bend!  Start your Saturday morning strolling through the lively Northwest Crossing Farmers Market in Bend.  This popular event kicks off at 10am, and if you really want to start it off in true Bend style, pop in to Sparrow Bakery and nosh on one of their signature Ocean Rolls. These little treasures are so good, and an original to Bend, they deserve their own write up on the blog, which will be coming your way soon!

Each year the Farmers Market continues to grow with an impressive list of vendors.  A few of the top stops on my list are The Vegetable Man produce, Farmhouse Candles, Southwest Salsa Co and Home Farm Foods for beef, pork and farm fresh eggs.  Swan’s Farm and Flowers is a must for beautiful plants and floral bouquets (the flowers usually come a little later in the season). If you have fur babies, The Best Doggie Bakery is sure to please your four-legged BFF.  The kids will absolutely love Slime Time, which offers a variety of scents and colors of Borax-free slime created by local mini-entrepreneur, 7th grader Audrey Miller. I am super excited to check out new vendor Matilda Jane Clothing for my little ones!

Be sure to stop at one of the many food carts for lunch. F Bomb Burritos are, well…the Bomb!  The Sunny Yoga Kitchen is always a hit if you prefer indoor dining, or pop into The Bend Pizza Kitchen for a slice of some of the tastiest pizza in Bend.  Don’t forget dessert! With both Bonta Artisan Gelato and Addy Mac’s Creamery on site, you’ll satisfy your sweet tooth while indulging in two of Bend’s best summer treats.

I must do a shout out to my brokerage firm, Cascade Sotheby’s Int’l Realty for sponsoring this amazing event every year.  As a matter of fact, I will be hosting our booth this Saturday, June 29, 10am-2pm. Stop by and say Hello! I will have cold water available, complimentary trail mix packets from Mountain Man Nut & Fruit Co and reusable shopping bags to carry all your goodies.  I will also be available to answer all your Central Oregon Real Estate questions, share property listings and give you a free real estate home evaluation.

If you are new to the area, swing by and pick up your “Central Oregon Buyer Relocation Packet”, 62 pages full of information on the area, demographics, statistics, attractions, resources and more.

To coincide with the rebranding and launch of the Hello Bend blog, I will be giving out FREE Hello Bend Oregon stickers, with three sizes to choose from.  Large and medium bumper stickers that also work well for your computer, cargo box or cooler; and the small stickers are perfect for your water bottle, helmut or skis.  Please stop by, say Hello Bend! And grab a sticker or two. Hope to see you at the Northwest Crossing Farmers Market every Saturday now through September 21, 2019.
