Dutch Bros: Best Drive Thru Coffee

Hello Bend! It’s the season of giving and in the honor of supporting our favorite local drive-thru coffee shop, Dutch Bros, we are launching a fun little giveaway for our followers! What is a Dutch Bros?

If you are from the upper West Coast, undoubtedly Dutch Bros is a household name. For so many of my clients that move here from out of the area, I am often asked, “What’s a Dutch Bros?”. Everytime I hear this question, it brings back memories of my own curiosity when our family moved to the area and I drove past the many quirky Dutch Bros stands sprinkled around Bend.

Dutch Bros was founded by two brothers in 1992 and started as a single espresso pushcart in Grants Pass, Oregon. It is now the country’s largest privately held drive through coffee company. With locations in nine states, currently as far east as Colorado, Dutch Bros is quickly expanding. A future location is even planned for my home state of Texas!

It’s not just about the convenience the drive through coffee concept offers, it is the culture and the “bro-istas” that make these hip little coffee stands so popular and keep people coming back for more. Known for their ultra-friendly staff that loves to chat up the customers, the vibe is as infectious as their delicious drinks! My friends and I rave about how happy we are when we drive off with our drinks…Every Single Visit!

Speaking of drinks, the menu is creative and fun with delicious rotating specials. Everything on the menu is fabulous! They have all your go-to flavors with fun names like the Annihilator & the Caramelizer. Also on the menu are iced and blended drinks featuring Dutch Bros Rebel energy drinks! There are so many options! My kids love the Not So Hot Chocolate, which is served in a cool reusable cup with whipped cream on the tip of the straw. We also make it a game to check the quote on the lids–it’s like a little coffee fortune cookie!
