Hello Bend! Often, when I’m helping a new family with their move to Central Oregon, one of the first questions they’ll ask is “Where do we go to get the best pizza in Bend?!” I get this question so regularly that I decided to write a blog post detailing the pizza scene in the greater Bend area! In no particular order, here are the top spots my Research & Development taste-tasters found with a brief description, and whether they are offering take-out, dine-in and/or delivery service:
Pizza Mondo

- Downtown, Bend
- Counter-service pizzeria serving hand-tossed, thin-crust pies, with gluten-free options. With a cult following in Bend, you can call and schedule your order for later in the day–we highly suggest this since they are known to get very busy on holidays and weekends and the wait times are astronomical–trust us–it’s worth it!

Cibelli’s

- Westside, Eastside, Redmond
- Cibelli’s is bringing that thin-crust, NY style pizza to Central Oregon! They are famous for their giant 24″ pizzas, and more than one local will tell you that you need to try their famous White Pie!

Olde Towne Pizza

- Greenwood/ Downtown Bend
- Olde Towne is a long standing local joint that serves delicious pizzas generous on the toppings, gigantic calzones, a salad bar (pre-COVID), hot subs and pizza by the slice.

Bend Pizza Kitchen

- Northwest Crossing
- BPK is serving up slices that are made from only the highest quality, organic produce. They have both a vegan and a gluten free menu, and are famous for sourcing 70%+ of their ingredients locally.

Pacific Pizza & Brew

- Century Drive
- Scratch-made pizzas & craft beer served in a relaxed restaurant with a spacious, outdoor deck. Pacific Pizza offers both a GF/ Vegan menu as well as their standard menu items.

Flatbread Neapolitan Pizzeria

- Old Mill
- This pizzeria is set in a chic, rustic wine bar setting. Serving Neapolitan pies from a central brick oven. My daughter loves the kid’s make your own pizza (again, pre-COVID) and my son loves the meatballs off the appetizer menu. They also have great salads and a delish tomato basil soup. If you go during lunch hours, you can order the pick 2 combo, which is my personal favorite!

Raganelli’s Pizza

- Bend Factory Stores
- Making everything by scratch in house, Raganelli’s boasts one of the most unique pizza menus in Bend! With pies named “Stinking Rose” and “Cuban Mojo”, you’re sure to find an eclectic array of delicious pies!

10 Barrel

- Eastside/ Galveston
- While not technically a pizza place, the pizza made at 10 Barrel deserves a mention on this list! From old favorites like “The Hippy” and “Mushroom Swiss Burger Pizza” their selection is always unique and ALWAYS delicious. Have kiddos at home? Be sure to try their “Take and Make” pizza kit. Pick up all the ingredients to have your own pizza party at home!

Jackson’s Corner

- Westside/ Eastside Locations
- Again, Jackson’s Corner isn’t your typical pizza joint, but MY goodness are their pizzas GOOD. Most notable about Jackson’s Corner is that they also offer a pizza “kit” with two pizza doughs, a tub of their scrumptious sauce, mozzarella, and the tastiest little pepperonis. You take it home and bake it on demand! My kids love the cheesy sticks off the kid’s menu, large enough for everyone to snack on.

- You’ll find the Pizza Cart at a lot of large local events! They pride themselves on only using fresh ingredients and keeping everything simple!

Stone Pine Pizza Food Truck

- Spoken Moto Food Truck Lot
- This place is such a great addition to Spoken Moto! Right now their specials include a “fancied up Margherita” and a Pesto Pear Prosciutto–yum!

Pisano’s Woodfired Pizza

- I’m a sucker for a great wood-fired pizza! Check out this one near the Bite in Tumalo!

Abe Capanna’s Detroit Pan Pizza Food Truck

- Crosscut Warming Hut No. 5 Taphouse
- Truly the only Detroit style pizza in the area, the pizza crust is thick, deep, and the edges are perfectly crispy. The sauce is out of this world, and the toppings and cheese are laid on there THICKLY! It is an experience!

Hideaway Tavern

- Just off of 3rd Street
- Appropriately named, and off the beaten path on 3rd street in Bend (they have a Redmond location too!), this is one of our favorite sports bars! Owned by the same people that brought you The Victorian Cafe, you will see the creative culinary influence of their sister restaurant on the menu. If you are looking for a fun environment to watch sports and enjoy delicious restaurant food, this is the place for you! They offer a vegan pizza and and gluten-free crust options. If you ask my kids, the most spectacular pizza on the menu is the Kid’s pizza! Just take a look at the size of this thing! Drew was in pizza heaven!

- Even though they aren’t a Bend local chain, our family loves the flexibility and accessibility MOD offers! We can each customize a pizza (great for the picky ones) and they are ready lightning fast!
