Hello Bend! The Rubbish Renewed Fashion Show is next Saturday, January 25. Trust me, this is a show you do not want to miss. So much creativity and innovation goes into each garment to raise money for a local charter school, and each outfit is sure to impress! “Rooted in a love of fashion, an appreciation of art and a passion for the planet, the Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show is an annual fundraising event for Realms Schools ( Realms Middle School and Realms High School). Started in 2010, this fundraiser features two eclectic, wearable art runway shows (one that features local students), a live auction of runway garments, a silent auction comprised of local sustainable donations, a pop up “marketplace”, featuring sustainable, creative products from local artists, local food (food trucks providing a variety of dinner choices) and drink.”

Join other socially conscious individuals for an evening of sustainable fashion, showcasing styles that the future demands, while supporting a fundraiser for Realms Middle School and Realms High School (opened Fall 2018).”
There will be two back to back shows on Saturday, January 25th, 2020 at The Midtown Ballroom (51 NW Greenwood Ave, Bend, OR). Each show requires a ticket, so you will need to purchase two tickets if you want to attend both shows. The first show is 6pm, and doors open at 5pm. The second show will start at 8:30pm, with doors opening at 7:30 .
The first runway show features approximately 25 student garments, several auction items created by adult designers, and 10 Business Challenge garments. During the second show you can expect a similar scenario, there will be approximately 20 adult garments and 10 Business Challenge garments. Both shows are approximately 25 minutes in length.
The runway is preceded by time to browse in the Marketplace and the opportunity to take advantage of the Silent Auction. Enjoy the party atmosphere, mingle with like-minded people, and learn about sustainability in our community.
After the runway, the bidding begins for 6-8 pre-selected adult garments (about 10 minutes, that will be completed during the 2nd show), then the Marketplace and Silent Auction will re-open for perusing. Be sure to turn in your Business Challenge vote and party until the winner is announced!
