Hello Bend! Sunday, December 8 is the 29th annual Breakfast with Santa at Pine Tavern. This is one of Bend’s oldest, most historic restaurants overlooking iconic Mirror Pond, famously known for the giant Ponderosa pine tree that is growing in the middle of the dining area!
This particular Breakfast with Santa is unique from some of the other events around Bend. It is hosted by the Assistance League of Bend, and all the proceeds go toward hosting a separate Breakfast with Santa exclusively for Foster families in Deschutes County. Going to this event not only provided fun lasting memories for our family last year, it gave other children the opportunity to experience the same joy of the holiday season!
In addition to a delicious breakfast buffet, your kiddos will have the opportunity to meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus in a very casual, non-rushed environment. There is no waiting in long lines, no stress to quickly snap your photos while your kiddos worry about having enough time to share their wish list, because everyone is rushing them along. It is an incredibly peaceful, fun experience…and you get to take your time capturing the magic of it all!
Pricing for this event is $25 for adults, $10 for children 6-12 and ages 5 and under are free. Each child receives a small stuffed animal and complimentary face painting! Call 541-382-5581 to book your reservation, but do it NOW as reservations are filling up fast!
Since Breakfast with Santa at the Pine Tavern is a long-running event here in Bend, locals know about it and start calling in to make reservations before any information about it is published. As a matter of fact, when doing my research for this write up, I could not find any information about the 2019 event online.
I called on Wednesday, November 27 and reservations were just about full, so be sure to call ASAP to secure your table for Breakfast with Santa at the Pine Tavern.
