Sunriver’s Brunch With Santa

Hello Bend! A few years ago our Christmas Elf brought us tickets to Sunriver’s Brunch with Santa as a special treat.  What a spectacular event…Sunriver does not disappoint!  Sunriver’s Brunch with Santa is served in the Great Hall, which is decorated in pure Christmas splendor.  The atmosphere is festive, upscale and really quite magical.  Of all the Breakfast with Santa in Bend events we’ve been to, Sunriver’s Brunch with Santa is the one that reminds me most of our time living in Orlando.  During our time in Florida, we had the benefit of living close to all the theme parks and having a wide variety of themed holiday breakfasts, lunches and dinners to choose from.  Many with characters to add the “WOW” factor for the kiddos.

Sunriver’s Brunch with Santa gives all those Disney buffets a run for their money!  The cost is much higher than many other options around Central Oregon, however it is absolutely worth every penny.  First off, the buffet is quite elaborate with a variety of scrumptious breakfast and lunch items. At the theme parks, you go for the experience NOT the food as it was always kind of meh.  At Sunriver’s Brunch with Santa, the food is king and does not disappoint!

Meet Santa, Ms. Claus and other Characters

The kiddos will have the opportunity to meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus in a separate room and have a professional photo taken.  Sunriver must’ve called in a favor directly from the North Pole because this is absolutely the BEST Santa and Mrs. Claus I’ve seen around Central Oregon!

Our kids we also surprised to meet Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman!

Dates, Times and Cost

There are two more Sunriver Brunch with Santa dates coming up:  Saturday, December 14 and Tuesday, December 24.  Food is served from 8:30am-12pm.  Advance reservation is required by calling 541-593-1000.  There is plenty of space left at both seatings, however now that Thanksgiving is behind us and Christmas is fast approaching, I am sure they will fill up fast, so be sure to call for your reservation ASAP.  Cost is $55 for adults, $30 for children 6-12 and free for 5 and under.

Don’t Miss Gingerbread Junction

The perfect way to top off your Sunriver Brunch with Santa is to head over to the main lodge to experience Gingerbread Junction and marvel at all the candy and cookie creations! This is the most spectacular display of gingerbread houses I’ve ever seen!  Gingerbread Junction will open on Friday, Dec. 6th and gingerbread houses will be on display in the Sunriver Resort Main Lodge thru Saturday, January 4th.
